Involving Jewish Men in Jewish Life. We are an organization dedicated to the enrichment of Center life and the Jacksonville Jewish community through fellowship, service, and fun.
Our members regularly get together on Sunday mornings to play pick-up softball, touch football games, or perform community service activities. We are a great way to make friends and meet people from our synagogue and the regional Jewish community.
As active members of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC), our level of participation has earned us First Place and Honorable Mention Torch Awards. From the World Wide Wrap to distributing Yellow Holocaust Memorial candles, we bring tradition to life.
We recognize our youth for reading Torah in synagogue services. This program, started right here, is now being implemented in Men’s Clubs across the nation.
We sponsor the Horty T. Gendzier Summer Scholarship Fund for Camp Ramah and present the Martin J. Gottlieb Brit Hinukh award to outstanding teachers.
The Men’s Club provides metal-finished Kiddush Cups for Bar and Bat Mitzvah students and special gifts for our Siyyum program graduates.
