Memorial Plaques

Establishing a Perpetual Memorial

You and your family have the opportunity to establish a Perpetual Memorial for the departed members of your family. This means their names can be inscribed on a plaque that would be lovingly and reverently displayed year-round in the Hannah Setzer Memorial Hall. All names will be dedicated and read aloud on Yom Kippur Day at Yizkor Services for the first year, and then the name will automatically be included in future publications of the Yizkor booklet. Additionally, designated members of the family are annually mailed a Yahrzeit notice informing them of the date the name will be read during minyan. Furthermore, the loved ones’ name will be printed in the Center’s Shabbat Handout which lists the Yahrzeits for that week. A Perpetual Memorial records the name of a loved one for all time.
