The Jacksonville Jewish Center is a spiritual and communal home in a diverse Jewish Community.  Your support directly ensures that we can continue and improve our programs – all of which reflect our commitment to Torah, Avodah, and Gemilut Hasadim.

TORAH: Life-long learning opportunities during every stage of life.  We have one of the finest Jewish learning environments in the country. We are home to the Galinsky Academy, encompassing the Bernard and Alice Selevan Religious School, Setzer Youth Education, The Martin J. Gottlieb Day School and the Laurie Preschool.

AVODAH: Multiple worship opportunities for our diverse community.

At the Jacksonville Jewish Center, we look to Shabbat as a celebration of time. Our community comes together to celebrate this special day in a variety of ways. We don’t like to think of Shabbat as a day of rest, but rather as a day…  Friday evenings begin with a traditional Minhah service followed by Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv. During the spring and summer months, we hold special musical Kabbalat Shabbat services. The options and energy continue on Shabbat morning. Our Traditional Service begins every Saturday morning at 9 am, and features a full service, engaging sermons, and oftentimes, communal celebrations… all of this and MORE.

GEMILUT HASADIM: A sustained commitment to performing acts of loving kindness.  We will not reduce our commitment to our Congregation and community…

None of this would be possible without your meaningful contributions.

Our synagogue relies on the generosity of our members and others in the broader community, to insure that we are able to meet the needs of everyone in our congregation and provide service to the Jewish community at large.  We invite you to consider a donation to the Jacksonville Jewish Center, we thank you for your generosity.  For additional information please contact Sarah Fraden at 904-559-9778 or sfraden@jaxjewishcenter.org.
